The idea for the Moxmoe Pictures Highlight Fund came from the life experiences of our founder, Moe Thompson. As the child of a single mother, there were times during his childhood when he experienced the caring generosity of others, and the feeling that those times gave him left him wanting others to feel the same way. One particular experience still stands out to him, even to this day.

When he was 10, the most coveted toy of the year was a Nintendo game system, but his mom did not have the resources to get him one for Christmas. However, through the generosity of a community organization, one was gifted to him! Although this was a very important experience that helped form the idea for the Highlight Fund, it wasn’t the only influence for creating the fund.

The Moxmoe Pictures Highlight Fund was created to support single mothers/single parents who may be struggling to provide “highlights” for their children & families. Just like the Nintendo story, we want to help single moms & dads create special memories for their kids that will last a lifetime.
